DESCRIPTION


DUBUIS Outillages and the French National Railways Company SNCF have been working together since 1990 to develop products for railways applications.
The rail bond system was designed following a request from the SNCF, who was actively seeking a new process to increase the rail connections reliability.
In addition to this rail bond, a wide range of relevant products have been developed by DUBUIS Outillages, as following :
  • Drilling machines
Drilling consists in preparing the place to set the bond in the rail.
Drilling is an essential operation in making rail connection by bond system, and connection's quality depends partly on the tooling used. It is very important to preserve rail mechanical properties and then to use some drilling machines, which enable to obtain a good surface finishing and a good geometry of the hole.

Several types of drilling machines have been developed by DUBUIS Outillages, in order to satisfy all types of application.

All our drilling machines are rigid and powerful units for a fast execution and a quality of drilling, whatever the diameter and type of the rail.
The stroke advance of our drilling machines is carried out with a wheel for a regular drilling.
Clamping of reamer drills and broaching cutters is carried out by fixing type Weldon 19 mm.
