| The DP3TH drilling machine is equipped with a two stroke petrol engine and is designed for drilling holes in rail for electrical connections and fish plates. Drilling capacities : - up to 22 mm diameter with reamer drill (this reamer drill is componed of a first diameter for drilling and a second, taller of 0,5 mm, for reaming. The reaming cycle assures a good finishing of the hole and removes sharp edges and defects caused during drilling cycle). - up to 36 mm diameter with annular cutter. General features : - Engine with built-in starter - Petrol mix : un-leaded petrol with a 4/5% mix of 2-stroke oil - Fuel tank capacity : 1,1 liters. |

This type of drilling machine features an over-rail clamping; so it is not necessary to remove the ballast but traffic has imperatively to be stopped during the drilling operation. This type of frame allows also drilling of the rail with counterrail. |

Our DP3TH drilling machine is fitted out with a set of rail shoes, which ensures a good fixing of the drilling machine according each type of rail (please advise the type of rail). Rail shoes are orientated by polarizing slot, in order to prevent mounting in bad way. |

This drilling machine is delivered with a special Tee-chuck key, allowing the hand rotation of spindle and the drill and rail shoes to be changed. |
 As an option, wooden carrying case, with positions for : - the drilling machine - the cutting tool - the chamfering tool - the petrol can - the aerosol spray. |

When using an annular cutter, lubrication is provided by a central spray. The drilling machine is fitted out with a quick-release coupling and a breaking-off valve. The handle of the feed handwheel folds down so that it is less liable to damage and more convenient when carrying it around. |

Quick fastening to the rail : 2 turns of clamping retractable screw are enough to fasten / unfasten the clamping system. |
