TORQUE WRENCHES

A correct drilling and a correctly expanded rail bond are necessary to secure a long life of the electrical contact. However, it is also essential to ensure that the nut, which holds the terminal onto the connection element, is tightened to the right torque value.
This is why we offer you pre-set torque wrenches, which release at the calibrated value, thereby avoiding any possibility of exceeding the required value.

Technical specification :
  • Standard : ISO 6789.

  • Accuracy : ± 4% of the displayed value.
The release torque is pre-set in factory so that risk of error is eliminated.
When the pre-set torque is reached, the torque wrench disengages in an audible and touch-sensitive way.
Because of its design, it is impossible to over-tighten.
This type of torque wrench may be called : safety torque wrench : it is fitted with an irreversible ratchet and permits only tightening.
